Jewelry to treasure for a lifetime
Artist Statement

I was born in Hungary and escaped after the Soviets crushed the Revolution in 1956. I chose Freedom. Freedom leads to creativity. Creativity leads to Art. I chose to become a Jewelry Artist to express myself.

My life experiences motivated my art of designing and creating jewelry for over thirty years, In my vision jewelry is a personal statement. It must be as unique as the person who wears it-and the one who creates it. I want to create something to treasure for a lifetime.

My professional goals are not different from my personal ambitions. Each piece I make captures the theme I have carried with me. Always. Freedom.

Description of work:

I work with gold, silver, and vermeil (sterling silver with 18K gold heavy plating) using many different techniques, such as fabricating, lost wax casting, developing shapes and textures. My inspiration comes from my feeling about nature. I like to work with stones and enameling, letting the motif of the piece emerge. I enamel on pure silver or gold using brilliant colors. The result is a miniature watercolor adorning a piece of jewelry.

I enjoy working closely with clients, merging their ideas and my sense of aesthetics to create a one of a kind piece especially for them. Designing wedding bands is dear to my heart - it gives me great satisfaction and a sense of accomplishment to custom design and create a handcrafted ring that truly symbolizes their unique relationship and union.
